XAC Announces PCI 5 Certifications - For its Newest Secure Android Terminals and PIN pads

(Hsinchu, Taiwan ROC: November 27, 2017) XAC Automation Corporation (TWSE:5490) announced the certification of its latest line of Secure Android terminals and PIN pads to the latest PCI 5 security standards. PCI 5 specifications include stricter physical and logical security requirements and extend the certification period to 2026.
 
With the latest certifications, XAC can provide its partners with one of the most expansive line of Android-powered POS devices in the industry. The devices are designed to address its partner’s different use-cases which include desktop, mobile, customer facing, self-service, and unattended solutions. All of the Secure Android devices in the platform have integrated MSR, EMV, and NFC readers, a physical or touch PCI certified PIN pad, and some models include an integrated printer.
 
Here’s a list of the certified products:

  1. e200NP: a 4” handheld mobile payment terminal
  2. AT150: a 5” handheld payment terminal with touch PCI and an integrated printer
  3. e200CP: a 7” customer facing terminal with a physical PIN pad that can be used as a multi-lane or a self-ordering device

 
XAC’s first RTOS Platform PIN pad, the RP-10, was also certified to PCI 5’s latest standards. The “all-in-one” desktop PIN pad can connect to any POS device via USB or RS232 to provide the latest payment security to legacy devices that support XAC's PIN pads.
 
 In addition to the certified devices, XAC confirmed that it is also waiting for the official Letter of Acceptance for its new AT100 which is 4” handheld payment terminal with a physical PIN pad) and integrated printer and that it will also submit its AT170 which is a 7” handheld payment terminal for PCI 5 certification.
 
All of these devices will be on display at the upcoming TRUSTECH 2017 Show in Cannes (France) during the week of November 28-30.
