XAC Launches its Most Powerful Desktop SmartPOS terminal A150ED

Hsinchu, Taiwan ROC (December 1^st, 2023). XAC Automation Corporation (5490 Taiwan OTC), a leading R&D/Manufacturing company focused on delivering commerce solutions to the payment industry since 1993, announced today its most powerful desktop SmartPOS terminal (AT150ED) that can be used as a stand-alone desktop terminal or can connect to a POS System to provide a semi-integrated solution.

XAC's AT150ED is the latest release in XAC's E6 Platform (PCI6/Android12) offering the same powerful performance as its successful AT150E mobile terminal (launched in December of 2022) mobile terminal in a more economical desktop design. AT150ED also supports an external PIN pad (RP10 or AT150EP) for a complete merchant/customer facing solution.

Leveraging XAC's 30 years of experience delivering high-quality, secure, and reliable devices, XAC's E6 platform uses Qualcomm's SOC for its core Android platform due to its performance and long product life cycle and a US designed security IC for "best in class" security. The AT150ED provides all the necessary functions required from a stand-alone terminal including maximum network availability (via Ethernet, WI-FI or Bluetooth), secure MSR, EMV chip, NFC/contactless and PIN based payment transactions, and a fast integrated thermal printer. For greater flexibly, XAC offers different memory configurations ranging from 1G/8GB up to 4G/64GB), haptic feedback, GPS, cameras, and its CloudDMS Platform to support our customer's different use-cases.
